M!ne Benefit for Australian Bushfire Relief a success!

On Saturday, February 21, 2009 M!ne hosted events at Magoja Headquarters (Magoja, 204/178/67) with proceeds to benefit victims of recent bushfires in Victoria Australia. The fires moved at an unbelievable speed and devastation was massive, destroying thousands of lives, thousands of homes and entire towns, with many of the nearly 200 victims claimed while evacuating.

The benefit event began with Cellandra Zon Light Dancer Extraordinaire performing an hour of beautifully choreographed dance with dazzling particle effects. Cellandras breathtaking performance was accompanied by renowned soloist Louis Volare superbly performing numerous original pieces on his grand piano.

The sim was by then at capacity when the seats were moved back to allow room for dancing and singer Mankind Tracer with his acoustic guitar took the stage delivering a stunning performance of numerous rock covers and several original pieces, effectively challenging audience members, and even absent group members who were unable to enter the sim, to help the relief effort by generously donating to the cause.

Rounding out the evening was CelticMaidenWarrior Lancaster whose angelic voice and graceful acoustic guitar captivated the audience with a moving performance of an array of popular ballads.

A huge thank you to all our gracious performers and audience members for a very successful event and efforts on behalf of Australian Red Cross for Victorian Bushfire Victim Relief.

M!ne Jewelry would like to thank NightAngel Noel for creativity that is unrivaled, for her artwork, design, and architecture, and without whose dedication, patience and attention to detail the success of this event would not have been possible.

The event combined with sales raised $66000L ($250 US dollar equivalent)

Thank you for your support and for making M!ne your own!
